SUNY Broome Women's volleyball team swept Cayuga CC
The volleyball team swept Cayuga CC on Wednesday night by set scores of 25-14, 25-15 and 25-15 to improve to 12-9 with a little over a week to go in the regular season.

The Hornet defense picked up 42 digs led by Anna Tiberia with 10 and Brianna Rossi with 9. Melissa Carden and Gabriella Bishop led the offense with 10 kills apiece. Carden hit an efficient .500 on the night and also had a team high 7 aces. Broome finished with a total of 17 aces on the night, Bishop had 4, and Madyson McMorrow and Casie Kephart chipped in with 3 each. Josephine Dure and Tiberia each had a block assist and Tiberia finished with 23 assists.

The Hornets travel to Syracuse on Saturday for the Cara Bryant Tournament hosted by Onondaga CC. Broome will face Jefferson at 9:00 am, Onondaga in the second match and Finger Lakes in the last match.
