$32,516 – SUNY Workforce Development Training Grant – Professional and Technical Skills Development for Employees of The Raymond Corporation

This grant supports workforce development training for employees of the Raymond Corporation, with Raymond Corp to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total project cost as cash match.

$1,256,262 – Higher Ed Emergency Relief Funds III – Supplemental Support Under the American Rescue Plan

SUNY Broome qualified for this support under Absolute Priority 4: Community Colleges and Rural Institutions of Higher Education Serving a High Percentage of Low-Income students and Experiencing Enrollment Declines. The grant is to be used for eligible institutional costs to defray expenses associated with coronavirus; and to make additional Emergency Financial Aid Grant to Students, which may be used for any eligible component of the student’s cost of attendance of for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus.

$27,500 – Apprenticeship Programs at SUNY – Opportunity Impact Training Program for Pre-Apprentices

This grant supports pre-apprenticeships training for approximately five employers, which will be facilitated by SUNY Broome in partnership with Triple Cities Makerspace and Broome-Tioga Workforce.
