Join the SUNY Broome Mathematics Department and the Applied Learning and Career Center as they host Hadassah Mativetsky, a Software Quality Engineer at Universal Instruments, to talk about Careers in STEM from 11 a.m. to noon March 8 in AT 119.

Come for the free doughnuts and stay for the talk! This event will be part of the ALCC’c Career Prep Series. Attendance will earn you one entry into a drawing for a Kindle Fire.

Hadassah will talk about career paths, professional certifications and graduate studies, with an emphasis on math, but also relevant to all STEM programs. Hadassah will also explore how math is used in industry (i.e., in engineering and manufacturing of machines for automation).
