Upgrade your skills with 7 week BIT courses. This coming spring (2022) the BIT department is offering its Web Development and Management Certificate in the department’s newly adopted 7/1/7 course format. This format changes how you work through the semester. Instead of taking on 5 + classes all at once you focus on classes in 7 week blocks during the semester. When one set of classes ends after 7 weeks another set begins.
Trying to take classes while engaging in your busy life? According to Achieving the Dream programs have “reported an increase in student success” when adopting shorter learning formats.
The certificate is available fully online. You can also go part time and still take classes in the 7/1/7 format. The Bureau of Labor Statistics anticipates a faster than average 10 year job outlook for web developers compared to other job openings.
