Solar powered flashing beacons (which are activated via push buttons) have been installed at the five major pedestrian crossings on our Campus Loop Road. The flashing lights will remain on for 30 seconds once activated.
We would encourage all pedestrians to activate these beacons as much as possible. The beacons will be a reminder to drivers that there are pedestrians in the area and that traffic should slow and be cautious. And always please remember, pedestrians always have the right of way when in a crosswalk. Thank you.
