The SUNY Broome women's track & field team participated in the Cortland Upstate Alternative meet this weekend and tallied four top-10 finishes.

The women’s track & field team participated in the Cortland Upstate Alternative meet this weekend and tallied four top-10 finishes.

Leivis Erazo took 10th place in the javelin throw with 9.69 meters.

Ava Schiff also competed in the javelin throw, taking 9th place with a distance of 15.61 meters. Additionally, Schiff earned 6th place in the high jump with 1.25 meters, meeting the Regional qualification standard.

Riley Precourt notched the fourth top-10 finish of the weekend for the team by earning 8th place in the javelin with 16.77 meters. Precourt then set a personal-best time in the 400 meter run with a time of 1:18.47, which met the Regional qualification standard.

The women will travel back to Cortland, NY this upcoming weekend on the 19th and 20th for the Cortland Classic Invitational.
