Communications & Media Arts chair Tim Skinner can now add acting to his already impressive resume! Professor Skinner starred as legendary Binghamton native and Twilight Zone creator screenwriter Rod Serling in a video produced by the Binghamton City School District.

The video premiered on Thursday, April 11 for fifth graders from the district’s seven elementary schools, a tradition known as ‘Rod Serling Day’. The video was produced by a talented group of Broome-Tioga BOCES employees, including SUNY Broome alumni David Hermanovitch, Allen Lown, and Jimmie Buyck, and former COM instructor Chris Whalen. Professor Skinner even got to meet Anne Serling, daughter of the late Rod Serling.

Step into the Twilight Zone and check out the video. Bravo, Professor Skinner!
