The Recognition of Service
This award is to recognize students who are work-study, volunteers, or student employees on campus. Nominees should have held an on campus position for at least one full semester and have at least a 2.50 cumulative GPA at the time of nomination. This award will be given to multiple recipients, so please feel free to nominate as many deserving students as you wish! Nominations for this recognition will be accepted by SUNY Broome faculty and staff only.
Student Organization/Club of The Year
This award is to recognize a student organization or club through SUNY Broome that has gone above and beyond to make SUNY Broome a more engaged community. Club members are welcome to nominate their own club. Nominations will be reviewed by Student Assembly and the Student Activities Team. There will be one winner for this award. Nominations for this award are accepted from students, faculty, and/or staff.
Student Organization/Club Advisor of The Year
This award is to recognize a club advisor that shows commitment and dedication to engagement on the SUNY Broome campus. There will be one winner for this award. Nominations for this award are accepted from students only.
Recognition of SUNY Broome Student Leaders
This award is for students who have shown to be leaders in co-curricular life at SUNY Broome. This award will be given to ten students. Nominations will be accepted from SUNY Broome students, faculty, and staff. Self-nominations are welcome.
From these nominations, one student will be selected to receive the Outstanding Student Leader Award. The student selected for the Outstanding Student Leader Award will need to be graduating between August of 2023 and May of 2024.
Nominations are accepted via The Swarm! Nominations are due April 12, 2024!
