SUNY Broome is pleased to announce the creation of our newest 2+2 Business Administration articulation agreement with SUNY Geneseo’s School of Business. This is SUNY Broome’s eighth 2+2 articulation agreement with SUNY’s top ranked business schools over the last 15 months.
Students now have the opportunity to complete the first two years of their business administration degree at SUNY Broome and then seamlessly transfer to SUNY Geneseo, with full junior-level status, to complete a bachelor’s degree in the same discipline.
SUNY Geneseo’s School of Business, located in Geneseo, NY, offers an innovative AACSB accredited curriculum and a wealth of resources for business students including internship and entrepreneurship opportunities. Students interested in taking advantage of this 2+2 articulation agreement simply need to graduate with a business administration degree from SUNY Broome with a cumulative GPA of 2.5. If this basic criteria is met, every business administration student will be guaranteed acceptance into SUNY Geneseo, which regularly receives top distinctions from the most widely-known and respected collegiate ranking lists including: US News and National Report, Fiske Guide to Colleges, and The Princeton Review. This year, SUNY Geneseo was named the #3 Top Public School in the Regional North by U.S. News & World Report.
“We are so pleased to have collaborated with our partners at SUNY Geneseo to create this streamlined, articulated pathway for students to earn two degrees in business administration within four years. This agreement takes all of the guesswork out of course selection and allows students to affordably and flexibly continue their business education at the baccalaureate level,” said Dr. Penny Kelly, Vice President of Academic Affairs at SUNY Broome.
SUNY Broome’s enthusiasm for this special partnership is equally mirrored at SUNY Geneseo’s School of Business. The administrators, faculty, and staff at Geneseo are poised to welcome SUNY Broome students and are excited to continue collaborating in the future.
“We are delighted with this agreement which articulates the courses between the SUNY Broome A.S. in Business Administration and SUNY Geneseo’s B.S. in Business Administration. The agreement will be beneficial to students and we look forward to welcoming the talented students from Broome, who I know will add greatly to our School of Business community here at Geneseo,” shared Dr. Mary Ellen Zuckerman, Dean of the School of Business.
This official articulation agreement with SUNY Geneseo is an exciting addition to SUNY Broome’s seven existing business administration articulated transfer paths. Thanks to the flexible format of the business administration degree, students can complete their courses in person, via a hyflex format, or fully online. This allows students from across the state (and nation) to affordably take advantage of the transfer pathways that begin at SUNY Broome.
