Congratulations!

Each year, SUNY Broome and colleges across the nation are notified about the All USA/Coca-Cola/Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships competition that awards nearly $500,000 in scholarships annually.

This year, two categories were up for nomination for the All USA Academic team: students preparing for the workforce in career technical majors and those preparing to transfer to the senior institution.

SUNY Broome is pleased to announce, we have nominated two outstanding members of our community:

Daniel Todd: Nominated for Transfer scholarship, Daniel serves as the Student Assembly president and is majoring in Business. His plan is to transfer to Binghamton University and complete the bachelor’s degree in business. A member of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society, Daniel’s goals include pursuing his law degree and working his way into politics.  He would like to see politics taken out of Congress while solving complex problems with legitimate solutions.

Junelle Perry:  Nominated for Transfer scholarship, this Business major plans to transfer to Binghamton University. With the ultimate goal of becoming a CPA, Junelle’s plans are to gain employment locally and continue to give back to the community. Junelle is a member of  Phi Theta Kappa, the community college honor society.

We are pleased to nominate these talented students for the national competition!  SUNY Broome is very proud of you.  We wish you well.
