$30,000 – STEM Engineering Excellence Project – Lockheed Martin through BCC Foundation
Project Lead: Dr. Christine Martey-Ochola
This grant will be used to establish a new Engineering Excellence area on campus. This indoor space will be fitted with tools and resources for use by students who participate in local and national STEM competitions, especially those that promote proficiencies within the areas of robotics and electric vehicle development.

$45,500- Broome County Department of Social Services (DSS) Professional Development – NYS Office Children & Family Services through Broome County DSS
Project Lead: Danielle Britton
This longstanding contractual agreement with Broome County DSS will support at least one DSS employee with pursuing a degree at SUNY Broome and approximately 250 DSS employees pursuing non-credit career professional development training.

$53,595 – Leadership Skills Training for Employees of Raymond-Hadley Corporation – SUNY Workforce Development Corporate Training Grant Program
Project Lead: Danielle Britton
This grant will support leadership skills training for employees of Raymond-Hadley Corporation, with Raymond Hadley to contribute a minimum of 10% of the total project cost as cash match.

$75,850 – 2022-2023 Child Care Appropriation – New York State through State University of New York (SUNY)
Project Lead: Dr. Carol Ross- Scott
These funds will help defray child care staff salaries at SUNY Broome’s on-campus child care center, the BC Center. By accepting these funds, the BC Center has agreed to give first priority enrollment consideration to SUNY Broome student parents.
