Time to do some spring cleaning the Earth-friendly way! Earth Fest, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 28 in the Baldwin Gym, is providing you opportunities to recycle the following:
PAPER: Rogers Service Group is offering free paper recycling and document shredding (10 a.m. to 1 p.m. only).
BATTERIES: We will collect household batteries and recycle them for you. (No car batteries, please!)
CLOTHING: We will donate your unwanted clothing to those who can use it.
BOOKS: We will be operating a book exchange. Bring in books you have already read, and pick up some books you haven’t.
While you’re here, enjoy Earth Fest! We will have vendors, activities for kids, fuel-efficient vehicles, and more. Admission is $1 or a non-perishable food donation to CHOW per person.
