Students attending Recruitment Roundup - Week of 10/21
Recruitment season is in full swing for SUNY Broome and colleges nationwide. This week, the Admissions department has been busy at work attending various recruitment events, college fairs, and hosting Instant Admissions and group visits for prospective students.

This week we have hosted two Instant Admit events, one with Susquehanna Valley and another with Whitney Point, which gave sixty-five local high school seniors the opportunity to receive instant acceptance to SUNY Broome in the program of their choosing.

Admissions counselors traveled throughout surrounding counties this week to meet students where they’re at, visiting Homer, Cortland, Marathon, Waverley, and Roxbury to speak with students about the programs and academic support services that SUNY Broome has to offer. Additionally, the Admissions team participated in the Financial Aid Night at Owego Free Academy, helping future college students to understand their options when paying for college.

Two of the biggest college fairs of the year for this area took place this week too: the TC3 Transfer Fair on October 18, and Binghamton College Day on October 19. During these events the admissions department connected with over 550 juniors and seniors!

If you would like to speak to Admissions regarding your program or department, we would love to connect with you! Each Wednesday, we are hosting “Information Wednesdays” in the Wales Office, where campus partners are invited to speak with Admissions so that we can learn more about your program, any upcoming events, highlights, and partnership opportunities.

If you are interested, you can sign up online at SUNY Broome Information Wednesdays.
