MANDATORY COVID-19 POOL TESTING
Per SUNY requirements and the ongoing efforts to keep the Broome campus community safe and healthy, “pooled” COVID-19 testing will begin Friday, September 11.
As part of the “pooled” testing protocol, all students are required to download the testing app and Register Here.
Student “pools” will be randomly selected and notified of the testing date, time and on-campus location for testing.
A saliva test is administered and “pool” results are given within 24-48 hours. A negative “pool” result means all students in the group are negative. A positive “pool” result means at least one member is positive and all students within the group will be retested.
This testing protocol is mandatory for all SUNY Broome students. Any student selected to test, who does not comply with the test procedures, will not be allowed to participate in any on-campus classes or activities until meeting compliance guidelines.
