Lucas Baker led the Broome runners with a time of 27:13.0 to secure a 10th place finish.

The men’s cross country team finished 4th on Saturday in a field of eighteen at the NJCAA DIII National Championships held at the Georgia Military College in Milledgeville, GA.

Lucas Baker led the Broome runners with a time of 27:13.0 to secure a 10th place finish. Right behind Baker was Connor Smith coming in at the 11th spot with a time of 27:22.7. Donnell Davis finished 29th (28:22.0), Jakob Getchell finished 35th (28:29.9), James McDonald finished 46th (29:08.3) and Riley Transue (29:30.4) and Eric Repp (29:31.5) finished 1.1 seconds apart good for a 55th and 56th place finish respectively out of a field of 140 runners.

In the Women’s 5K, Claudia Chermak placed 32nd with a time of 22:45.1 while teammate Kalia Brizzolara came in at the 56th spot in the field of 90 runners with a time of 24:33.7.
