Introducing Dr. Angela Riley, who will be moderating this week’s Preparing for a Career & Career Opportunities in Healthcare panel and networking event. We are honored to have her lead our discussion!
Dr. Angela Riley is executive director of Experiential Education and assistant dean at Binghamton University’s School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Prior to joining Binghamton University, Dr. Riley was the director of Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences at Chicago State University College of Pharmacy. She is certified as a geriatric pharmacy specialist with additional professional experience in community and hospital settings. She has obtained several grants and contracts, including a Community Action Grant from the American Heart Association.
Dr. Riley’s clinical interests include geriatric pharmacotherapy, long-term care, and health promotion and education. She is actively involved in global pharmacy initiatives and plans to coordinate annual student outreach initiatives. She is a member of several organizations including Phi Lambda Sigma Leadership Society and the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists.
