The rink will go pink for the annual Hockey 4 Hope charity hockey game at SUNY Broome’s Ice Center.

Paint the Ice runs the day before from 5 to 8 p.m. March 31; for a $5 donation, anyone can paint a message for or about loved ones and their fight with cancer. The Hockey 4 Hope Charity Game will take place at 7 p m. Saturday, April 1.

Hockey 4 Hope raises money to help alleviate the financial burden associated with cancer. Proceeds will be donated to The Geller Fund of The Lourdes Foundation and Make-A-Wish of Central New York.

Hockey 4 Hope played its first game in 2010 and was established in memory of Constance Glauser, who passed away from breast cancer in May 2006. Visit http://www.hockey4hope.com/ for more information.
