The College and Board of Trustees are saddened by the recent passing of former Board of Trustee member Timothy Grippen. Mr. Grippen was a member of the College’s Board of Trustees from 2005 -2014, and served as the Board Chairman from 2011-2013.
“Tim Grippen was a towering figure in Broome County through his military service, government service, elected office and as a former trustee and chairman for SUNY Broome. We share the loss with the County and especially his family to whom we offer our deepest sympathies,” said SUNY Broome President Kevin Drumm.
“His tenure and commitment to the college was significantly appreciated. He was a true leader and exemplifies what a board member should be,” said current Board Chair Anthony Paniccia. “Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family during this difficult time.”
