An ad has been circulating on Facebook that is making the false claim of student loan forgiveness for all former SUNY Broome students. A screenshot is attached.
This is a scam and should be reported to Facebook whenever you see it. If you see this ad, please click on the three-dot menu at the top and report it as a scam. Students wanting to know about their student loans and repayment options can contact the Financial Aid Office or go to https://studentaid.ed.gov or https://nslds.ed.gov.
