Take ART 113 this fall to explore the History of Modern Design! Taught by Associate Professor Patricia Evans, this class is entirely online — meaning you can learn at a pace and time that works for you.
Technological, economic and social changes produce an explosion of material artifacts and lifestyle experiences. Join us for a trip to London’s Great Exhibition at the Crystal Palace, the 1939 New York World’s Fair and a journey through the modern culture of mass consumption with sleek modern interiors. We’ll also stop at the Motorama for a look at the latest tailfins, chrome and high-compression engines at General Motors.
Register online at www.sunybroome.edu/apply or with your Advisor. You can take it as a 3-credit General Education Course to fill a requirement or as an art elective. Questions? Contact Professor Evans at evanspm@sunybroome.edu or 607-778-5503.
