John Suarez, from SUNY Cortland is inviting 4 faculty members from SUNY Broome. If you are interested, please register ASAP!

Dr. John Reiff (Director of Civic Learning and Civic Engagement, Massachusetts Department of Higher Education) will facilitate activities through which participants connect civic learning and racial equity in their syllabi so that their students understand and can address public problems through a framework of racial equity in their personal and professional lives.

Register by Tuesday, April 30, by emailing john.suarez@cortland.edu. Please attach the syllabus of the course that you would like to revise. Staff members are welcome to participate in this workshop as well, as we all work to educate students.

This workshop is sponsored by SUNY Cortland’s Institutional Equity and Inclusion Office, the Anti-Racism Task Force, and the Institute for Civic Engagement. The workshop is possible through a generous grant from the Institutional Equity and Inclusion Office, and with help from the Institute for Civic Engagement.
