We are thrilled to share that our own Dr. Carol Ross-Scott, Vice President for Student Development and Chief Diversity Officer, was honored in Albany this week at the Legislative Women’s Caucus Women’s History Month Celebration. 

Dr. Ross-Scott was selected for this incredible honor by SUNY Broome alumna, Senator Lea Webb. This award is a testament to Dr. Ross-Scott’s commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. She is a champion for students and marginalized individuals on campus and in our community.

Throughout Dr. Ross-Scott’s impressive career in higher education, she has exemplified excellence in promoting positive change, empowering students, and fostering an inclusive educational environment. By uplifting students in their academic journeys, Dr. Ross-Scott has committed to making SUNY Broome a supportive and welcoming community for all.
