Maya Angelou

Maya Angelou (April 4, 1928- May 28, 2014) was an American writer, poet and civil rights activist. She is know for her autobiographical fiction books. Angelou helped Malcom X, and Martin Luther King Jr. during the civil rights movement. Her work is respected by women and the black community.
