Matthew Meleski and Kacper Bielecki turned in solid performances on the mound and some solid defense kept the contest close but in the end Broome fell short. The Hornets had a chance in the top of the seventh to tie or take the lead with runners on first and third but a deep fly out to left field by Trevor Dennison ended the game.
