SUNY Broome

Greetings from the SUNY Broome Admissions Office.

This week starts the return of your favorite weekly summary of the goings-on in the world of admissions and recruitment.

This week the Admissions Office partnered with the EOP, the Library and the STEM division to provide a comprehensive tour for the Pelham Lab School from New York City. The students asked great questions and learned about the variety of opportunities on our campus. They were impressed by the campus community, as well as wildlife, with some students seeing their first chipmunk up close.

This summer the Admissions Office is offering regular campus tours. Tours will be visiting a variety of spaces on campus between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm on weekdays. Prospective students and families can register on the Admissions webpage to take the tour.

Our office recently welcomed Tara Clancy as a new staff member. Tara is a graduate of Binghamton High School and SUNY Cortland. Her previous experience working in higher education and working with students will be a great asset to SUNY Broome for many years to come.

Lastly, the Admissions Office is looking for volunteers to attend Spiedie Fest this summer. The festival on August 4, 5, and 6 is an opportunity to connect with our community and promote the opportunities at SUNY Broome. As a volunteer you also gain entry to the event for the rest of the day. If you are interested please contact me to discuss the details.
