The men's basketball team fell to Genesee CC

The men’s basketball team fell to Genesee CC by a score of 86-65 in Batavia on Saturday in a Region III contest.

The Cougars got out to a 44-29 halftime lead and never looked back, handing the Hornets their third loss in a row. Broome saw four players in double digits led by Andrew Charles with 16 points, Cameron Irving-Miller was next up with 14 points, Jalin Pitts added 11 points and Frank Richards came off the bench for 10 points. Broome falls to 4-17; 2-11 MSAC and Genesee improves to 17-4; 12-1 MSAC.

Broome will host Jefferson CC at 8:00 pm this Tuesday in the Baldwin Gym, the men’s last home game of the season.
