SUNY Broome Entrepreneurship Assistance Center: Spring 2024 60-hour Entrepreneur Success Program

We’re thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated 60-Hour Entrepreneurship Certificate Program, Spring Edition. This program is crafted to equip both aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small businesses with the indispensable skills and knowledge essential for fostering a thriving enterprise.

The comprehensive curriculum delves into crucial areas such as business plan development, effective marketing strategies, risk management through insurance, fundamental accounting principles, customer discovery techniques, and mastering the art of pitching your business, among others. As the program culminates, participants engage in a pitch competition followed by a closing ceremony to celebrate their journey.

We’re privileged to have the esteemed Gladys Brangman, CEO of Business Leaders of Colors, returning as our instructor. Professor Brangman’s dedication lies in empowering business owners, nurturing their confidence, and honing their skills to navigate the foundational elements crucial for success in their ventures. Throughout the program, Professor Brangman will be joined by several distinguished guest speakers, enhancing the participant experience and enriching their learning journey.

While we extend a special invitation to those interested in exploring ventures within the food industry, the program warmly welcomes all entrepreneurial enthusiasts.

For further information, registration details, or if you’re interested in sponsoring our pitch competition, please contact Ellie Rivera at eac@sunybroome.edu or call 607-777-4022.
