SUNY Broome students interested in transferring to Harpur College at Binghamton University upon completion of their studies have regularly scheduled opportunities to meet with a BU Academic Transfer Advisor to maximize their transferrable credits and plan their transition from Broome to Binghamton University.

Meet with SUNY Cortland!

SUNY Cortland has partnered with SUNY Broome to create a clear transfer path for students.

Transfer Mobility Advisor, Zack Wilson, will be available for in-person and online appointments to serve as a resource for students who are interested in transferring to SUNY Cortland.

Appointments can contain but are not limited to:

  • Overview of SUNY Cortland
  • Major and career exploration
  • How to apply to SUNY Cortland and requirements for the application and majors on campus
  • Course recommendations for upcoming semesters to prepare for transfer
  • Evaluation of transfer credits, as well as AP/IB/CLEP evaluations
  • Transfer policies at SUNY Cortland
  • Academic concerns
  • Connection to campus resources and other areas of interest at SUNY Cortland.

SUNY Oneonta Transfer Advising

SUNY Oneonta Transfer Counselor Donna Johnson will be available to meet with SUNY Broome students on Wednesday, October 20th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM by appointment only in Applied Technology (AT) 120.

SUNY Broome Students interested in transferring to Oneonta after completing their SUNY Broome degree are encouraged to attend one of these sessions.
