Register now for SUNY Broome Alumni Night at Tioga Downs on Sept. 19, 2026.
Plan on taking your chances at the casino. But it’s not much of a gamble when it comes to great food, connecting with fellow alumni, participating in raffles, and much more!
All SUNY Broome alumni, former students, current and retired faculty, staff, and guests are welcome. Please note that attendees must be 21 and over.

The SUNY Broome Foundation will hold its Student Awards Recognition Reception (commonly referred to as the Scholarship Reception) on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, in SUNY Broome’s Ice Center. Check-in will begin at 5:00 p.m., and the ceremony will begin at approximately. 5:30 p.m.
The Foundation will award more than 300 merit-based scholarships and recognize more than 350 students during the event. These scholarship awards usually range from $500 to full tuition coverage.
Students interested in scholarships can learn more at SUNY Broome Scholarships. The application for the Second Chance Scholarship opens in the fall (typically in September), and the application for most SUNY Broome scholarships begins in the spring (typically in January).
The 24 Hours of Giving Bake Sale has been postponed due to the weather. Stay warm everyone!
In the meantime, consider making a donation to the Student Giving Peer Scholarship. The Student Giving Peer Scholarship funds a $500 scholarship each year for a deserving student (or even more students, depending on funds raised!).
24 Hours of Giving is the College’s most important day of fundraising, fostering college pride, and supporting SUNY Broome.
Donors put the gift of education within the reach of students. Their generosity helps fund scholarships, provides emergency financial assistance, supports the food pantry, and more!
