SUNY Broome Toastmasters Join with Other Toastmasters to Honor Linda Cerra of Mercy House

Five local Toastmasters clubs are coming together on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 1 – 3 p.m. at the Vestal Public Library to honor Linda Cerra, the Executive Director of Mercy House. The event is the first annual Voices of Leadership award celebration, and Linda Cerra will be the first to be honored with the Communication Achievement award.

Mercy House is a hospice care shelter in Endicott. In the 10 years it’s been existence, Mercy House has cared for more than 1,550 residents and their families. As the Executive Director of Mercy House, Linda Cerra is responsible for managing all operations of Mercy House as well as marketing and fundraising.

Linda’s success at Mercy House embodies the communication and leadership skills that Toastmasters cultivates in its members.

SUNY Broome’s Toastmasters Club, Speakers of the House, is joining together with the Morning Knights Toastmasters Club, Leaders and Learners Toastmasters from BU, the Visions Federal Credit Union Toastmasters Club, and the River City Toastmasters Club to cosponsor this event.
