Investing to Curb Climate Change
Can you help move the US (and world) economy towards a lower carbon path? Yes – you can, provided you exercise your vote, voice and powers as an investor. This presentation will provide an overview of Sustainable, Responsible and Impact (SRI) investing in general and will specifically explore impact investing in the area of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 13 – Climate Action. Attendees should come away with a basic understanding of SRI Investing and as it pertains to climate change, a framework for incorporating these ideas into their investments and some actionable ideas to make your investments more climate friendly and sustainable.

This documentary film explores the struggle to save one of the world’s most valued wetlands: Florida’s Everglades. Other threats to Florida’s ecosystem are examined as well. The film may serve as a message of hope as the global community struggles to cope with their own environmental challenges.
