Scholarship Reception

The SUNY Broome Foundation will hold its Scholarship Reception on Tuesday, May 10, at SUNY Broome’s Ice Center. The Foundation will award more than 300 merit-based scholarships and recognize more than 250 students during the event. These scholarship awards usually range from $500 to full tuition coverage.

In 2021, The Foundation awarded over $1.3 million in student support through scholarships, grants-in-aid(which is awarded to students through Financial Aid), student emergency grants, and more. We hope to exceed that amount again this year.

Students interested in scholarships can learn more at SUNY Broome Scholarships. The application for the Second Chance Scholarship opens in the fall (typically in September), and the application for most SUNY Broome scholarships opens in the spring (typically in January).
