Pre-Eclipse Event

Join us for an educational and interactive pre-eclipse event:

Date: Wednesday, April 3
Time: 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Location: Applied Technology atrium.
Description: The KOPERNIK Observatory & Science Center will provide a planetarium where guests can enjoy 20-minute shows.

Please follow the Solar Eclipse Safety Guidelines (pdf)

• NEVER look directly at the sun — this can cause permanent damage!
• Sunglasses do NOT protect your eyes from a solar eclipse.
• Wear ISO 12312-2 Certified Eclipse Glasses from a trusted source.
• Create a pinhold viewer to project the eclipse onto a piece of cardboard.
