MLK Series Fireside Chat with Damola Adamolekun

The Binghamton University Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion and the Distinguished Speaker Series present the MLK Series Fireside Chat with Damola Adamolekun, the chief executive officer of the iconic global restaurant chain Red Lobster. At 35, Adamolekun is the youngest CEO in Red Lobster’s history, leading the company in strategic initiatives and ensuring the brand’s continued growth and success. Adamolekun has been recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the 100 most powerful people in business and was named in Nation’s Restaurant News’ Power List among the most innovative and inspiring leaders in the restaurant industry.

The evening is a celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s legacy and the enduring work of advancing equality, justice, and transformational leadership. The program features a moderated discussion with Adamolekun, an opening performance and an audience Q&A.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Event starts at 7 p.m.

Transportation will be provided on a first come/first serve basis. The bus will depart from the Student Village at 6:00PM on Wednesday, January 28th and will return students back to campus after the event has concluded. Check The Swarm for more information.

The event is free but you must order a ticket online from the Anderson Center.
