Latino/a Students Data-Based Initiatives to Increase Enrollment, Retention and Support

Transitioning to college and persisting towards degree completion can be stressful enough for Latino/a students under normal circumstances. The pandemic disproportionally affected Latino/a students — less enrolled and less persisted to degree completion. After years of unprecedented Latino/a student enrollment growth, institutions now need to renew their focus on targeted outreach, increased enrollment and retention strategies, and support programs that promote Latino/a student success and degree completion.
