HNY invites our community to reflect on the relationship between humans and the environment.
About this event
Humanities New York continues its Online Community Conversations series in September with this hour-long conversation about the relationship between humans and nature at the confluence of culture, civic engagement, and environmental stewardship.
How can we best honor our roles and responsibilities to protect the natural world? Should we think about the natural world as part of our community? What are ways we can all take action to protect our shared home?
The conversation will be built around an 8-page text provided upon registration. For further reading, HNY curated a reading list last year that examines the complex relationships between culture, science, and the natural environment. Each selection is available online, free of charge.
