Braver Angels Author to Speak at BU

Here is a wonderful opportunity at BU, to hear Monica Guzman, an author and staff member at the national organization promoting cross-partisan conversations, Braver Angels:

Guzmán will discuss how to have civil conversations despite increased partisanship and growing divisions. Her book ‘I Never Thought of It That Way’ describes her experience as the liberal daughter of two Mexican immigrants who voted for Donald Trump. She uses this insight to encourage readers to look past their differences using the power of curiosity, asking questions and learning from those they disagree with.
