Adaptive Leadership & Team Development: Motivate Your Team, Shape Productivity & Create Healthy Environments for Staff & Students You Serve

January 28 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

SUNY Broome Professional development

Many new and seasoned leaders are thrust into roles on today’s campuses with little to no training on the people interactions and team building skills that are necessary to produce desired results in a collegiate environment. Most times, this is due to limited time, money or resources, but it has left many institutions at a deficit in leadership development.

Join us as our presenter will help you become adaptive in an ever changing higher education landscape by first looking at your own leadership style and how you approach situations, analyzing how/what you communicate with your team, and breaking down how you can create a workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent (even without the financial resources to support). Understand you are the most influential person in the work lives of those who report to you and learn how you can create and foster an internal culture that reflects your leadership style so you can promote growth, open dialogue and shared success aligning with your organization’s mission.
