Accessibility Fixes for Microsoft Word and PDF Documents (With Help from Anthology Ally)

Accessibility of digital content ensures that all learners have equal access to educational materials. Anthology Ally is the tool we have at SUNY Broome to guide us in making the digital content we provide to students via Brightspace more accessible. Using the feedback provided by Ally, we can remediate many of the common accessibility barriers found in our Microsoft Word and PDF documents.

In this session, participants will gain hands-on experience in interpreting the feedback provided by Ally and utilize Microsoft Word to remediate accessibility issues. Participants should have a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Word and access to the Brightspace Learning Management System.
