You are invited to attend the tenth annual Ethics Conference at SUNY Broome!

The event will take place from 3 to 8 p.m. in the Decker Health Science Center on Friday March 15.

This year’s theme is the “Ethics of Politics” and we are pleased to announce our keynote speaker will be New York State Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo, who will be discussing the ethical situations that an elected official faces on a daily basis. Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo was first elected in 2004 and is currently in her eighth term representing the City of Binghamton and towns of Union and Vestal. She has a number of leadership positions in the Assembly, including chair of the Assembly Committee on Agriculture, chair of the New York Legislative Aviation Caucus, and former Chair of the Legislative Women’s Caucus. Assemblywoman Lupardo also serves on the following Assembly Committees: Economic Development, Higher Education, Rules, and Transportation.

There will also be an election ethics kickoff panel discussion with Broome County Executive Jason Garnar and Binghamton City Councilman Giovanni Scaringi, as well as breakout sessions and film screenings.

This event is free to all SUNY Broome and Binghamton University students and faculty. Dinner will be provided.
