SUNY Broome Women's basketball defeated North Country CC

Three Hornets scored in double figures as SUNY Broome defeated North Country CC 64-37 on the road on Sunday.

Sophia Ashman had 16 points, three rebounds, three steals, and two assists to lead the scoring charge. Juliana Turner added 14 points, three rebounds, and two steals. Lillian Monroe also had 14 points and added five rebounds. Kendall Farthing made three three-pointers off the bench in the win.

SUNY Broome shot it at an impressive clip from all three of the field, three-point range, and the foul line in the dominant victory. The Hornets outrebounded the Saints and forced 27 North Country turnovers as well.

The team will begin a five-game home stretch, including three home games this week, tomorrow at 6 p.m. against Corning CC.
