Following the announcement of the Build Back Better Regional Challenge awards in September 2022, coalition members from 16 organizations, including SUNY Broome Community College, began building their teams to implement the substantial initiatives of New Energy New York (NENY).
NENY’s mission is to establish a nation-leading domestic hub for battery development, innovation and manufacturing in Upstate New York. Creating an industry cluster of this size and impact requires the incorporation of research, innovation, technology translation, and workforce development along with the manufacturing and supply chain goals necessary to make this establishment a reality and secure its future.
If you are curious about any or all of NENY’s initiatives; we invite you to join colleagues and stakeholders from our coalition organizations throughout New York State to a deep dive across all NENY projects for our educational webinar. Choose one or many of these virtual sessions covering NENY programs in pilot battery manufacturing, equity and justice, supply chain growth, workforce development, and technology innovation and entrepreneurship.
