The front of Triple Cities Makerspace

SUNY Broome Continuing Education invites you to attend a free workshop at Binghamton’s very own local makerspace from 6 to 8 p.m. May 2, 2019. Come see what they have that might help you with your business!

The Triple Cities Makerspace is located at 362 State St. in Binghamton. Their mission is to foster the creation and innovation of concepts, ideas and solutions, providing space, equipment and training to members and the public.

This workshop will take you on a tour of the space, where you will see and learn about the metal and wood shops, the laser cutter and 3D printer area, the audio/visual area, computer workstations, electronics workbench, craft room, classroom, and the kiln and pottery area.

By sharing tools, knowledge, and experience, Triple Cities Makerspace has become a hub for collaboration. High-profile designers work alongside students, retirees share their knowledge with novice builders, and entrepreneurs collaborate with hobbyists.

They support educational topics related to do-it-yourself (DIY) endeavors, technology, science and the arts, and seek to promote public interest in creative uses of technology through open collaboration with individuals and local institutions.

Triple Cities Makerspace has tools for all sorts of projects, from furniture to robotics and whatever else you can imagine.
