Colleagues: MarCom has created a web page for regular updates to the coronavirus situation. Please check it regularly for the most up to date information we have, as the situation changes regularly. If there is a significant change, we will also share that more directly. The most significant discussion to day has been around special events and whether to cancel. SUNY’s advice is to check with our local Departments of Health and currently has no restrictions on domestic travel. We are considering converting to virtual gatherings in some instances but no decisions have been made except for a couple of larger events that have been cancelled. SUNY almost always has the Assistant Commissioner of Public Health on their calls, so we are getting the best health council directly from that office rather than one-off from SUNY itself unless it pertains directly to a SUNY policy and how it may be impacted.
