Page and Stage: The Power of Performance in Learning

October 7 @ 11:00 am – 12:00 pm

What can dance teach us about writing? How can we all benefit from the creative process and the transformative power of performance? Whether on the page or on the stage (or anywhere else) the principles of performance can help us understand and improve our teaching and learning in virtually any context. Presented by an English Department faculty member who is also a dance teacher and dance competition judge, discover the ways in which teachers and students of any discipline can benefit from the power of performance.
