Two SUNY Broome women’s volleyball players were recognized with All-Conference honors over the weekend.
Over the weekend the 2024 Mid-State Athletic Conference All-Conference Teams and awards were released, including 1st Team, 2nd Team, 3rd Team, Honorable Mention, Player of the Year, and Coach of the Year.
Congratulations to Lejla Cehic for being named to the All-Conference 3rd Team, and congratulations to Ayshah Almashni for being named an All-Conference Honorable Mention.
Cehic totaled 66 kills, 6 service aces, 18 digs, 18 solo blocks, and 6 block assists on the year for the Hornets. Almashni had 14 kills, 9 assists, 25 service aces, and an incredible 226 digs on the season for SUNY Broome.
The Hornets finished the season with an overall record of 5-15.
