Aja Jackson 2023 Outdoor Track Championships: Jackson Qualifies For Nationals, Women Set Personal Bests

The women’s track and field team attended the Utica Pioneer Spring Invite over the weekend and reached multiple season-best results.

Aja Jackson ran the 5,000 meter race in a time of 19:47.27, which was good for 3rd place overall in the event. As a result, Jackson qualified for both the Region III Championship and NJCAA National Championship meets in that event.

Riley Precourt set a personal record with a time of 32.6 seconds in the 200 meter dash. She also ran the 400 meter dash at 1:20.98, and she reached 4.99 meters on the shot put.

Ava Schiff set a season-best time in the 100 meter hurdles with 19.06 seconds. Schiff also placed 9th overall in the triple jump with a distance of 9.25 meters. She logged 3.81 meters in the long jump, and 8.02 meters in the shot put.
