Do you like to give speeches? Would you like to have your name forever immortalized on a plaque in Titchener Hall? Would you like to win some prize money?
The SUNY Broome Toastmasters Club, Speakers of the House, will be hosting a Student Speech Contest on May 14 at 3 pm, via Zoom. The prizes will be $300, $200, and $100. Speeches will be 5-7 minutes, and can be on any topic or in any genre (appropriate for any age). A link to the judges’ grading rubric is included below.
This is your opportunity to show off your creativity and speaking skills.
