The Hornet Hope Center Challenge – Sponsored by the Dean of Students
With the holiday season right around the corner the Dean of Students is excited to announce the 3rd Annual Hornet Hope Center Food Drive Challenge, starting Monday, October 26, 2026!
How to get involved: Scan the OR code and fill out the form for your team!
- Create a team! It can be a department, office, or a group of colleagues!
- Designate a Team Caption for your team (contact person).
- Submit the Hornet Hope Center Challenge Sign Up form.
- Challenge your team to contribute generously to the Hornet Hope Center.
Food Drive Schedule: Signup NOW until 11/16/2026!
- Week 1: Oct. 26 – Oct. 30
- Week 2: Nov. 2 – Nov. 6
- Week 3: Nov.9 – Nov. 13
- Week 4: Nov. 16 – Nov. 20
A list of popular food pantry items can be viewed on the Hornet Hope Center webpage.
Monetary donations are also welcome! Donate through the SUNY Broome Foundation by selecting Hornet Hope Center and adding your team’s name in the indicated box.
Feel free to donate other food items, hygiene products, clothing & household items. No expired food please!
Cash donations are also welcome! (please direct cash donations to the Foundation office).
Hornet Hope Center Challenge Categories:
- Highest number of pounds donated for the week
- Most cash collected for the week
- Best meal idea/ recipe that could be created from your team’s donations
The Team Captains will be the main point of contact. More information will be sent directly to them.
