Catholic Charities of Broome County, in collaboration with United Way’s 211, will hold Thanksgiving basket sign-ups.
Sign-ups will be held by calling 211 or by calling 1-800-901-2180, beginning Wednesday, September 11, 2024, and ending Friday, October 25, 2024. Sign-ups are only during regularly scheduled business hours Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
- Individuals and families living in Broome County will have the opportunity to sign-up for a Thanksgiving basket.
- Each household will receive a confirmation number from 211. The confirmation number will be needed to pick up the basket.
- All families signed-up for a basket will receive information about the date, time and location of the basket pick up 1 to 2 weeks prior to Thanksgiving Day. Families should expect to pick up their baskets the weekend of November 23rd to November 24.
- One Thanksgiving basket will be provided per household. Please have information on hand for every person within the household prior to making the 211 call.
